I really need one because I’m going to do the piano but we have no space for it and I heard that Yamaha keyboards are the best.

Is there anywhere that I could get a fairly sized, cheap Yamaha keyboard that doesn’t come from ebay????

If you’re going to play piano, then a keyboard is no use for two reasons – 1. Keyboards do not have weighted keys (weighted keys give the feel of a ‘real’ piano) and 2. You’ll run out of keys soon (especially when you are doing scales). So, you’ll need a digital piano or a stage piano with weighted keys. The Yamaha DGX630 is the one i’d recommend. It retails at £599.99 – there is an optional pedal board for this too which provides the three pedals underneath like a real piano. If your budget won’t stretch to this, the least expensive digital piano on the market at the moment is the Casio CDP-100 which is £349 (although i’m sure Argos are selling it at £299). This is a really good basic entry level piano. You could try looking in Cash Converter shops or on ebay if you don’t want to spend this ammount. Hope this helps. Oh, check with your local music shop to see if they hire out pianos too – this is always a cheaper option.
