A superb collection of classic MIDI keyboard loops from Smash Up The Studio. Composed and performed in the styles of some of the huge artists of the era.
Timeless chord progressions of the highest quality, this is a fantastic resource
for both songwriters and producers.
“Keyboard Riffs Of The 60′s & 70′s” is a great opportunity to add some of those
really memorable chord progressions to your tracks. The great thing about
these classic kind of riffs is that they never go out of date and can cross over into virtually every current genre.
The pack contains some loops particularly suited to acoustic piano, there are
others designed for some of the classic electronic keyboards of the time such
as the Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer Piano, Hohner Clavinet D6 etc and also loops
for organ. There are 60 MIDI keyboard performances in total between 4 and 8 bars
in length. Each loop is tempo labelled.
Benefits of MIDI
Obviously with the loops being MIDI, there are no limitations regarding the sound you choose, or the tempo, and of course with countless other editing facilities you can really personalize each riff to make it your own. These loops sound great when
played back with a wide variety of plug ins and synthesizers, so start experimenting
and get creative!
Performed and produced by Steve Burton
