i seen a yamaha keyboard that seems perfect for what im intending to with it, however i was wondering how does it link up with my laptop?
cause I’d really like to use it for making music

look at the features on the keyboard and see if it has MIDI Capability, that’s what you’ll need to hook it up to your computer… hopefully it’ll have a USB port, cuz otherwise you’d have to get a MIDI interface. And them sh*ts is kinda pricey. Last of all, make sure you have a program you can record the keyboard in, like Cubase and I think Fruity Loops or something like that. You can’t record external audio in a Program like Reason or somethin like that. Hope this helps
