80s Synth Medley (3 guys, 6 keyboards)
Daft Punk w/ Logic 8, MIDI & EA-1
A ‘cover’ of Harder Better Faster Stronger/Around The World as heard on the Alive 2007 album.
Runs from a small loop made in Logic 8 with an Around The World sample looped, and all the Harder Better Faster Stronger samples loaded into the EXS24 sampler. Samples are triggered from the microKorg which is being used as a MIDI keyboard. The ATW resonant synth line is also sequenced in Logic 8. The EA-1 is running a four bar pattern on repeat with the extra synth line on part one, and the ATW bass line on part two.
All Logic 8 sounds are assigned to different channels out of an M-Audio Fast Track Pro interface and spread over separate channels on a Behringer Xenyx mixer. Each part can be added or removed separately from the faders on the mixer.

What should I look for when buying a musical keyboard?!?
I want to save my money up to buy a keyboard. I play the flute, so I have some musical knowledge and such.
What should I look for when buying a keyboard? How many keys should I buy it with and all that stuff. I would like one with a microphone, a stand, and headphones so I’m the only that can hear.
So if anyone could suggest a model, that’d be nice[:
There’s many options out there. If you are a creative person then any keyboard will work for you.
What I look for when I buy keyboards:
Keys – Minimum of 49 keys, 61 and up are recommended
Sound engine – There are tons of Casio and Yamaha keyboards that don’t deliver. They make great learning devices, but they aren’t for performance.
No speakers on the keyboard! When you take away power from the keyboard’s synthesizer for speakers you end up hurting the quality of sound.
Some of the synthesizers I recommend:
Korg Radias – Simply fantastic (audio http://www.korg.com/Product.aspx?pd=262 )
Korg Microkorg XL – Same engine as the Radias, and it’s small.
SH-201 – Great flexibility, powerful engine, best for price range
One little website with performances – http://performedmusic.blogspot.com/
These are some "serious" instruments that are very well priced.
Since you come from playing flute you can hook a "digital" flute to any of the previously mentioned devices and create even more magic!
Akai Ewi and Yamaha WX5 – http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26ref_%3Dnb%255Fss%26field-keywords%3Dakai%2520ewi%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Dmi&tag=alldevs-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957
