“The American Music Shop was one of the greatest music shows ever! Even now, No show has given us the variety and talent that was aired on this program. Heavy’s from Country, Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, Zydeco, would give these amazing performances with as much energy as being at their live shows. The production and sound quality was far superior to any thing CMT could ever do today. I still regularly watch the shows I was lucky enough to have taped. After the show had ended, I asked Jerry Douglas and Mark O’Connor if they missed doing the show, both said “yes”. I wish that the powers that be would sell the shows to syndication. The House of the Rising Sun – Piano Cover – HOTRS
The House of the Rising Sun – Originally a Southern American Folk Song, that became a worldwide hit for Eric Burdon and the Animals in 1964, as well as the brilliant singer Joan Baez back in 1960. In fact the original musician on electronic keyboard was the well known organist and singer Alan Price who launched his Alan Price Set in 1965 and later worked with Georgie Fame
In this version, HOTRS is performed on Technics SX-PR60 Electronic Piano Keyboard by Transgendered Musician – Denise Hewitt. I’m still working on developing my personal interpretation of this great folk song, so please listen to this version as “work in progress”:)

Me playing my Yamaha DGX-200 keyboard, recorded on Cakewalk Music Creator v3.0. I Can’t Make You Love Me, Music and Lyrics by Mike Reid and Allen Shamblin, as performed by Bonnie Raitt and Bruce Hornsby.
I was originally going to mix in a drum beat and some filler instruments with this until I heard how it came out. I added a reverb, but this is just me playing the song. Since this one has no video, I included the lyrics with it. Hope you enjoy.
