Playing Ableton Live 8 with my old MIDI Keyboard
Using Ableton Live 8 for the first time, I’m exploring how the software works. It’s pretty cool but has a steep learning curve. Through trial and error and a lot of reading I was able to connect my instruments and set my soundcards latency issues. The video was made with MusicMaker, neat software.
All instruments are from Ableton live which I played through my trusty MK4902 MIDI keyboard
drum loop is made through a Korg Kaossilator which passed through a Korg Kaoss Pad.
Instruments under “instrument rack”
Bass: dirty bridge pickup
Piano: acoustic piano
Guitar: heavy metal
Drums: Kaossilator/ Kaoss Pad
Keyboard: MK-4902 (I Expect this keyboard to fall apart on me someday)
