Mark O’Connor & The American Music Shop! 1 of 4

The band to beat! This is a short segment of the terrific music from “The American Music Shop.” (The aired from 1990 to 1993)

Leading the band, is the Legendary Grammy Award-Winning Violinist and World-Class Fiddler: Mark O’Connor!

Song: “Pick it Apart” by Mark O’Connor

The New Cats Band:
Mark O’Connor, Fiddle
Matt Rollings, Keyboards
Brent Mason, Electric Guitar
Michael Rhodes, Electric Bass
Paul Franklin, Pedal Steel
Paul Leim, Drums
Terry McMillan, Tamborine/Percussion

“The American Music Shop featured a different artist each week. Concerts were given in a small, intimate theater and recorded live. In addition to the artists’ own bands, the American Music Shop band accompanied the performers, giving these concerts a unique sound.” (Written by Jason A. Cormier -IMDB Website)

I also whole-heartedly agree with the following author:
“The American Music Shop was one of the greatest music shows ever! Even now, No show has given us the variety and talent that was aired on this program. Heavy’s from Country, Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, Zydeco, would give these amazing performances with as much energy as being at their live shows. The production and sound quality was far superior to any thing CMT could ever do today. I still regularly watch the shows I was lucky enough to have taped. After the show had ended, I asked Jerry Douglas and Mark O’Connor if they missed doing the show, both said “yes”. I wish that the powers that be would sell the shows to syndication. That way, more of the world could enjoy the rich flavor this varied musical flow gave us each week when it aired”. (Written by Pnai -IMDB Website User Comment)

Yes, I too would buy Re-mastered DVDs of all three years of this show if it was available. Please! :-)

Produced by: TNN-THE NASHVILLE NETWORK, 1991.

What is the best musical keyboard to buy for a beginner?

I want to learn to play the and was thinking of maybe buying a Yamaha.
I am a beginner with no prior experience with music. Which model would you suggest? I am looking to spend up to £200 and one of the would be .
Any tips and suggestions would be helpful. Thank you in advance. :)

The coolest ones are the ones that light up on the keys that teach you the songs… I think they are at best buy or target or one of those stores.
