Hi, I don’t have experience with the CASIO CTK-5000. But if it has a midi in and out, you should be able to record the midi into cubase, and it should be about to play back into your key board. As far as playing the multiple instruments at once, that all depends what your keep board can dot. like selecting different tracks all at once. like track one drums, track 2 piano. You will have to check that out

If i use my CASIO CTK-5000 with cubase, and say i select a tone on my keyboard like synthpad and record midi on cubase, Will Cubase remember which tone i used on the keyboard for playback, And can i use multiple sounds and extra tracks, My keyboard only has 6 tracks you see and i want to add some really fast unplayable notes lol using cubase

Too true, get a MIDI! and if you can’t buy an MPC, get a TRIGGER FINGER from M-AUDIO. The trigger finger is great because of the extra knobs and sliders. just youtube it, you’ll see what people have done. Made my beat “Califorina Dreamin” using the trigger. myspace,com soundwrightpro

I wanted a midi keyboard, and I also wanted something like a trigger finger. So why buy 2 separate items if I could have them in one? The axiom has other good features that I liked also, such as play, stop, and record buttons that I use for reason, plus it has the semi-weighted keys, and makes it a better keyboard for me.

how do those keyboards record start in to flstudios ive seen some people do it before is it because it a controller and is just playing the sound all ready on the computer am asking cause i have a normal portable keyboard but i dont now how to record it in to fl so i play it in cubase and import it in to fl studio if any one knows how to record start in to fl studio could u tell me im also bout to get a contoller and that might be somethin to learn also so in advise would realy help

I personally don’t understand why you’d get the axiom 49 and not use the knobs and faders. If you like the keys and pads, why not just get something like a trigger finger?
