How do I attach my Yamaha keyboard to the PC?

Hi, I’ve got the software Cubase and studio and a Yamaha Keyboard but I don’t know how to attach the keyboard to the PC.

What things do I need?

they keyboard would probably have a midi in/outlet (possibly USB but this is less likely)
PC’s dont usually have a midi inlet, so you might need to buy a dedicated with a midi port. a basic card can be bought for about $30, just make sure it will have the correct port that you need to plug in the keyboard as there are different kinds of midi. check with the keyboard manufacturer website, sometimes they will have info on what kind you need.

well it depends on what kind of media port the keyboard requires. Most things like keyboards, headsets, ect use simply a USB 2.0 port, but you need to double check…
