Oh my goodness, thank you so much, Tom! Your videos are wonderful, it is so nice of you to take the time out of your day to make these tutorials! I learned how to play guitar off of the internet, and now I am interested in learning some basic piano. You are a great help!

Thank you. How many tutorials do you have on You Tube. I saw 9.
Thanks. I never use …
Thanks. I never use sheet music. I just play chords with each hand. I always play the same chords with both hands so if there is sheet music that has some different chords for the bass I am not familiar with that. I encourage each person to play what they want to hear. Keep practicing the music. You will get to where you will feel what you want to play. If you are playing in a band for other performers the sheet music would be necessary. I do not read any sheet music. Good luck.
Hi Tom, Thank you …
Hi Tom, Thank you for your videos. I reviewed 3 of them so far and plan to review all of your tutorials. My question is, if I have a piece of sheet music and there’s a C or F at the top of the staff for the chord…do I play the chord in the treble or bass clef? If I play the melody in the treble clef, what about the notes on the staff for the bass clef? Are the notes in the bass clef a compliation of the chord requested at the top of the staff or just an option? Please help. Thank you.

Thanks. That is good information.
yeah M-audio makes …
yeah M-audio makes it, it is called a MIDI controller. I was reffering to the specific model of M-Audio. M-Audio Keystation 88 -> hunted it down. yeah, MIDI is a lot of fun. I have a Behringer BCR2000 which i plug into my Roland SH-201 for quick tweaks across the entire synth without having to enter sub menus. And as for people not using MIDI from controller to synth, they can use a MIDI controller with USB and run VSTHOST with a free VST plugin called JAZZBABY -. really nice sounding piano
It is connected to …
It is connected to a 61 key Yamaha DJX. The sound comes from the Yamaha. Even though the Yamaha has an abbreviated keyboard the sound card does play all 88 notes. The Yamaha is more than 10 years old. The M-Audio is just a contro;;er with no sound card. I am not sure who makes it. Thanks.
