    Although I’m not …
Although I’m not sure if Kraftwerk uses VST or recordings of their Sennheiser and EMS Vocoders (I think I read they no longer have the actual vocoders in live concerts, too bad). If someone wants to say please do so.

Well that’s good if they’re still using the SVC-350, or at least a recording of it!!!

check out my ‘polyphonic vocoder’ video.. i use the digitech talker and i love it with analog synths… very unique and there is a talkbox function taht sounds like a crazy hybrid of zapp and something else wild

i am 100% positive they are still using one unless they have it prerecorded… aint no vst or digital synth that makes that sound they have!

    it’s ONLY a tiny …
it’s ONLY a tiny percentage of what’s currently being produced (perhaps 1% – 5%, IF that). Back during the 60s, 70s, and up to the mid 80s the percentage of good and better music was much, MUCH higher!! As others have said they just don’t make it like they used to!!!

    Cosmo D from …
Cosmo D from Neucleus says he misses his SVC-350 and wished he still had it. He also used the Electro-Harmonix EH-0300 Vocoder, as well. Unfortunately Kraftwerk no longer uses their Sennheiser or EMS Vocoders. And the same is also sadly true for most artists that were around back then and still are today. They’re just not as good or exceptional as they once were. To me music took a nosedive in the late eighties/ early nineties and has never recovered!!! Sure there’s still good music…BUT…

    I would have LOVED …
I would have LOVED to see them live back in 1983/4…but NOT so sure about today since I doubt they still use the Roland SVC-350 Vocoder!!!! Sadly, most likely they now use a cheap-ass VST or a computer program, etc… all of which are just emulations of vocoders, NOT the REAL DEAL!!! BUT if I could go back in time to the early eighties…then…YES!!!!
