Unfortunately, I don’t know of an easy way to do this in Live. I would recommend to contact Ableton and mention this feature request. They are very open to user feedback and suggestions.

When you have the loop brace selected you can also use ctrl/cmnd down to halve the it’s length, and then up again to return back to normal. It’s good for create drum rolls etc on the fly.
