What means “new to …
What means “new to keyboards”? Previous piano experience or starting from scratch? Looks you are good with the keys. I just purchased e423, I want to sketch my ideas and then other people to re-play with quality, I then will do the vocals. I thought about CTK5000 from Casio, but the people say Yamaha is Yamaha.

Best one I was able to find in the price range.
As far as positives go it’s a great keyboard for practice or if you’re new to electronic keyboards like I am. Has plenty of voices/beats and other forms of customization.
Only negative I’ve noticed, is that when I turn it up to full volume,the speakers can’t handle some of the deeper tones without making a staticy noise.
