Defying Gravity – Keyboard

Wow… the last piano video uploaded was about three months ago… well, hope this song was worth the wait.
I say it took about half a year (on and off) to learn all 11 pages of this song (and to read Wicked!). Nevertheless, there are still some mistakes, especially at the end, sorry x_x
The sheet music is from the “Piano/Vocal Selections (Melody in the Piano Part)” version. Originally for Elphaba herself, without Glinda, but some extra notes have been added in by ear to make it sound like the version we all know. Not smart enough to add the “I hope your happy” part though X_X
Next… this is my first time using Windows Movie Maker. Just decided to add lyrics for those who like singing along. The white text is Elphaba, yellow Glinda, green both, and brown the citizens of Oz. This whole video editting process took about an hour or so, not bad for the first time…. Video editting comments are encouraged, thanks.
Fifthly… I decided to back up the piano with an orchestral sound. The keyboard alone sounds so empty and dull without it, so hopefully this makes the video even better. All done with two buttons on the keyboard.
Lastly, my room is back to it’s original position, except that back table there has the computer, as you can probably see. This way seemed better anyway, since the bass wouldn’t overload the camera.
Now, let’s end this accursed lengthy description with a celebration to Wicked, one of the best musicals of all time~

good job, this is really hard not gonna lie, i learned and memorized the first 3 pages in about a week but months later i still am really slow at page 5 on thru the end.

Both xP I practice with the sheet music, then I finally record the song once it’s completely memorized. If you can’t memorize it, you wouldn’t be confident enough to play the whole song that well.
